Our September Aster woven throw blanket — hand-painted design by Taylor, a bouquet of pale purple asters centered on cream cotton, framed by a hand-drawn quilt border and woven in the North Carolina foothills.
Asters are September's birth flower — long tied to wisdom, valor, and faith. Painted first in gouache and then woven in cotton, they arrive right when summer starts letting go, framed here like a first-fall keepsake.
