Wrap yourself in art.
Our Roost print, hand-painted by Taylor in gouache. A picnic basket with a hen inside, held by a wreath of cottage flowers on a deep forest green cotton background with a blue gingham border. Jacquard-woven in the North Carolina foothills.
Roost pulls a whole cottage still-life onto one blanket. A picnic basket with a hen inside, held by arching poppies and small florets on deep green, with a soft blue gingham border around the edges. Reads like an old botanical print.

I was honestly very surprised when I received this blanket, the colors on it are so beautiful and vibrant. I love that it’s 100% cotton and can be machine washed.
It is also just the right size to use for naps, it starts off cool but then warms up with your body and not itchy at all.
This is the perfect blanket that brings such character to a space. A blanket that keeps you warm and is a work of art is hard to find.
I expected this blanket to be high quality because everything I’ve ever gotten from Pen+Pillar has been, but this blanket exceeded my expectations. The design is so pretty, and it is nice and thick. It’s neutral enough for me to use in several rooms of my house. I saw another review with a cat in the picture, and I had the exact same experience. My cat was immediately a fan. I love that the artwork is original and that it is made in North Carolina. It really feels like something special.
I love it! It is so soft and has a good weight to it. It is beautiful and comforting.
Like everything from pen&pillar this has become my favorite!! I have loved everything paper from pen&pillar for years. When this blanket showed up at my door, I knew it was just perfect! It’s such a treat to snuggle up with and read or watch a favorite show! Even with the chaos of toddlers, in the background it’s a little treat to look forward to every day!
Love this blanket!!! The size is perfect, the quality is amazing and even the cat approves!
I really love this blanket! It’s super soft, feels really nice, and the quality is amazing. The pattern is so pretty, and the colors go perfectly with my room. It looks so cute at the end of my bed and makes everything feel a lot more cozy.
It’s a really nice size and feels like it’s made well. I’ve already been using it a lot, and it’s perfect for relaxing or just adding a little extra warmth.
Overall, I’m really happy with it and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a cute, cozy blanket!
This blanket is genuinely lovely. I have it in the Thicket pattern, and it's such a subtle, beautiful design — it goes with several different things in my home, which I love in a throw blanket. It's also noticeably thicker and more substantial than I expected, so it feels like real quality, not just decorative.
What really sold me is the craftsmanship — each design starts as a hand-painted piece by their founder, Taylor, then gets woven right here in the NC foothills.
It's the kind of piece that works draped over a chair, at the foot of the bed, or wrapped around you on the couch — pretty enough to double as decor, but soft and cozy enough to actually use. Highly recommend.
This is my 3rd blanket purchase and it is my husband's birth month...going to purchase mine next!!!!
